Custom Pet Blankets

Did you know that I have two pet rabbits? We've had them a few months now since adopting them from the Humane Society. Their names are Pancake and Pixie and bonding them has been a bit trickier than expected - you can't just put two unfamiliar rabbits together, you have to slowly introduce them in neutral territory and supervise what we call "bunny dates". These days though, they've been getting along wonderfully!

We had Pancake for a few months before we adopted Pixie to join him, and in that time we bought him the most adorable mini bed from Ikea. Isn't it cute? Since the bed is meant for dolls the blankets it came with were a bit childish, so I decided to give it a little update. So many pet beds and accessories aren't exactly my taste, so I was happy to make my own custom bedding for the rabbits using fabric I ordered online from Minted. There are countless beautiful patterns and colour-ways to choose from! To see more photos and the step by step instructions, click through below.

Rose-Tinted Glassware

If you know me, you know I LOVE thrift shopping. My favourite part of the store is the glassware section - I can almost always find something to bring home with me. Lately I've been loving all the vintage coloured glass I've been seeing while thrifting and in others' collections online. Todays DIY shows how to make your own simple rose-tinted glasses - such a fun idea for Valentine's Day, don't you think? The full post is over on Design*Sponge.

Giant Matchstick Valentine

I'll admit it, I enjoy a good pun every once in a while. There are so many cute ones on vintage valentines that I had to put my own spin on one in today's post. See all the steps and instructions over on Handmade Charlotte.

Bon Bon Bowls

I've started to realize that I have way more vintage glassware than I have room to keep. Recently I picked these adorable milk glass ramekins, but had yet to use them for anything. Instead of letting them collect dust, I came up with this crazy easy DIY project to turn them into oversized bon bons! See more photos and the full tutorial over on Julep.

Marbled Clay Hooks

Jewellery storage is such a tricky nut to crack. I used to have one of those necklace trees, but I found that many of my necklaces were too long for it and they became tangled on the dresser. Now, I've started using these marble clay hooks, and so far they're working great for me! Make them yourself - see the instructions over on Design*Sponge.

Geometric "To Do" Magnets

I love making To Do lists. I usually have a few going, for different projects, days, etc which usually works well for me, but sometimes the tasks on the list are things both me and my boyfriend need to do. To make life easier, I made these geometric To Do magnets - this way, I can keep the list up on the fridge for everyone to see. For all the steps, see the full post on Design*Sponge.
